Knights Templar of Britannia Plans a Humanitarian Support for Tibet

Dharamshala: Uk based spiritual organization "Knights Templar of Britannia" is planing to support Tibetan people to try and free themselves of the Humanitarian problems. YC Dhardhowa, editor of The Tibet Post International, talked to Lord Christopher Macklin, a council member of Knights Templar, who is involved in coordinating the project.

Special Spiritual Bond Between Dalai Lama And Panchen Lama Remains: His Holiness

Dharamshala:Representatives of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery and the Central Association of His Holiness the Panchen Lama today made a grand long-life prayer offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the main temple in Dharamshala.This ceremony was meant to commemorate the 20th anniversary of His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama, Choekyi Gyaltsen's, death. The prayers were also held in hopes to hasten the release of the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, who was abducted by Chinese authorities in 1995, at the age of six.

Nobel laureates announce launch of “Thank you Tibet!” campaign

Dharamsala, India: On the morning of 28 October, Nobel Peace laureates Jody Williams and Mairead Corrigan Maguire, along with PeaceJam co-founder Dawn Engel, held a press conference at the Tibetan exile government's Department of Information and International Relations to announce the launch of the Thank You Tibet! campaign.

French Senators to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala

Dharamshala: According to Tibetan official media, a five-member delegation of the French Senate will be meeting Tibet's political and spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama when they arrive at the Tibetan government-in-exile capital of Dharamsala on 30 August.
